Rumba Beach Resort

Heated main pool is awesome and not overly chlorinated. Location is excellent. The free morning muffins and tea/coffee was an innovative touch and afternoon live acoustic musician during happy hour similarly pleasant. Staffing at the bar however and in general are less than happy, welcoming and engaging - shame. For the price point, I think all rooms should have a coffee machine. And happy hour should include wine, not just beer and cocktails. Otherwise, recommended for a family stay and would stay again.

I loved this place! It was clean, comfortable, the staff were lovely. The shower could have had more water pressure and it would be great if the heated lap pool were more accessible with steps rather than the ladder. The toilet did have a small continuous run and the door to the balcony wouldn’t lock but the staff came up at 10pm to fix the door. I thought this was just amazing service! Usually in serviced apartments your rooms don’t get fresh towels or beds made daily however here if we wanted it, they did it which was just fantastic. The views were also spectacular. I will be back to stay again. I loved it here!

Our trip as a family to Rumba was a great experience. The hotel was fantastic, with great facilities, views and access to the beach, shops, restaurants and parks. Rooms were great, not as big as some others around however the room was well maintained and equipped. Starting to show their age but it was forgotten almost immediately by how clean and presentable they were. Pools were excellent, well looked after and heated (massive tick) and the onsite bar was amazing. It provides an atmosphere at night that puched above its weight. The onsite barista was amazing, its a little thing but its the little things that add up to a great stay. This little thing is something missed by a lot of hotels. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Overvall great stay and will back as soon as we can.

The hotel room was fantastic and the pool facilities are great if you have kids. Its close to restaurants and fantastic cafe's. My experience was great however the room we book was an Oceanview room which was located directly above the coffee club and other eatery's which meant we had a concoction of oily smells through the day. It would be good to have the heads up particularly with the price tag that comes with the room. We also could not contact anyone after hours when we had the unpleasant experience of noisy neighbors and smoking into the early hours of the morning. Good feedback to have an after hours contact etc. The resort were doing a lot of work with gardening around the pool and we did have a lot of mud to walk through in and out of the pool, lastly, we did not encounter a friendly team. Hospitality isn't easy work however, being hospitable goes a long way with return business and word of mouth, each day we actively engaged the resort team some of whom looked like they wanted to shy away from saying hello.
